    I agree, and I've owned the whole stable of DR's (except the big.....must get one one day)

    The DR350 I had was a shitter (but that may have been that particular bike). DRZ400 was way more capable, close ratio gearbox was the only downfall. DR650 feels somewhere in between, with a bit more weight, and a shitload more torque. Beterer for the riding I'm doing now. Seat ain't much softer than the 400, just wider. You get a sore arse at about 350km instead of 320km.

    Oh, and the DR200 I used to ride in the '80's was probably the best of all, but I was only little then, and any bike made you do this.

    Yebut...... I could get 2 low k's 350's for the price of 1 400.Anyway it's all academic anyway, I/we will prolly just nana our way round the countryside on the bikes we have already, falling off in some stunning places and generaly not worrying about tires and pressures and other shit that they teach in ADV school.
