Seriously though folks, that surprises me as I ride predominately with HD owners and their riding discipline is top notch. Perhaps those that attended don't ride in groups often enough.

I wouldn't stress too much about it, it all comes down to our own individual bias.

I can remember watching sprotsbikes with no clue how to hold a line and thinking "they should just follow the cruisers - most of us do this type of riding a lot"

All flavours of bikes zoomed past me on the outside from time to time but it was only jappas that shot through like maniacs on the left.........but then I expected that.

Considering the size of the ride and the distance travelled, I'd say everyone did a damn fine job

i think it was the harley riders that split the learners group to hell. i was third in line, with 2 others in my mirrors. coming up to a set of lights, and all i hear is harleys, from both sides. next thing, im doing all i can to stay behind and keep in view hopeful and xp@. i dunno what happened to the other 2 slower riders and janet and john.

Janet and John? They were in books I used to read at school, where are they now?

I got passed by allsorts, but noted the patched Gang members carving us up on the Pororua motorway. No Prob for me, I was doing an economy run, and reckon that if I rode everywhere at 70KPH, I get amazing economy out of the VTR.
The scooter buzzing along got a wave...
Fantastic event, got a buzz at the interchange merging with the Hutt Valley Bikes, that was awesome!
