Oh man, that sux ass. Sorry to hear about your losses. I've been too lazy to put the disc lock on while the bike's in the garage but I reckon I will now especially with the spate of thefts in Hamiltron

House & Contents - I seriously doubt it, it will cover lawn mowers and petrol powered vibrators, but motorcycles of any breed will fall under a separate vehicle insurance.

Sucks man.

I know it aint the bike owners fault and thieves are scum but I cant understand why people dont invest in $50 p/m 14mm hex chain and a chunky lock. Might cost ya $100+++ for a good setup but it lasts forever and acts as a pretty good deterrent and makes damn secure when locked to a floor anchor. I dont believe in disk locks, pretty easy to drag a bike.

Good luck with recovery of bike and/or insurance. Get a lock

oh shit sorry to hear about your bike John , ( and your Aunt ) I know how it feels mate ... hopefully Karma will find these scum and give them what they deserve ... Chains and Padlocks definitely are a peace of mind for me , even in the garage ... (altho they'd have to get past the rottweiler and over the electric fence) ... good luck with finding your bike ( and insurance )

Really feel for you John Drove past your house today and went around all the side streets looking for any sign of your bike, will do the same tomorrow and Friday, you never know it might be close by still.......
