Mission bay is an awesome idea darling, plenty of waterfront, not a lot of parking, it'll be a hoot.
C u at 7.30 ish, gotta be in quick if ya wanna park folks.
Dodygiti,Inner city, too big bro, this is fantastic, will hit where it hurts.
Pissing off the general piublic? how?, exercising our right to utilise a park is not an offence and if we're asked why, we can quite legitimatly say, it's part of what they( the general public) need to get used too)What was a car park with three or four bikes parked in it, is now going to be taken up by our individual Cages, lets see if that idea enthuses them any more, than the govt trying to tax us! of the road.
Please be quite clear, I'm hoping many of the public do get a tad annoyed and as I'm certain they will, they'll ask WHY? That people is when we explain it to them in simple terms, it's us and 0ur usual courteous parking on the bikes ( no increases in ACC Levies) or it's our cars taking up the spaces they currently use because we use our gas miserly, road not damaging, far less polluting motorcycles!
Win win, we have breeky, we get to talk to lots of members of the public and they get to see where we are coming from, first hand.
Then, it gets better, They ( from Mission bay, Remmers, St Heliers etc) go to their local MP's and give em shit!
Tell them, get this sorted out or else we pull our donations and our support.
Great idea Mom, I'm with you all the bloody way.

Would be nice to have a few KISS placards for the public to reflect on (stimulate righteous paranoia). Perhaps some simple but revealing statistical equation based on their figures that don't add up?.

Make much ado about the fact that ACC has an 11 billion$ reserve... I really liked that 'he's no trout' Professor's explanation of how they propose to fatten and re-brand the ACC as an 'ACC Insurance' cash cow with a 24 billion dollar reserve and govt guaranteed income stream, for sale to the highest bidders.

Make a big deal about how everybody's earner premium is going to increase along with other selected risk groups as well. That'll piss the public off (pissed with the govt).

What an underhanded way to raise funds and enslave the taxpayer eh? Wouldn't it be more honest to just go and borrow the hundreds of billion$ they want and enslave the taxpayer in the usual open and transparent manner as has historically been the case?

My bad! I read "I am not that much bothered about annoying anyone except for the businesses" as meaning that you weren't motivated to annoy anyone except for the businesses.

That aside. Are the Parnell Rd and Ponsonby Rd suggestions not suitable to meet your needs for additional venues?

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I'll print some and distribute as many as I can around the closest CBD parks tomorrow (though I'll probably only get downtown and maybe victoria done at the most)

Suggest adding the flyer to the first post?

Can you please make some? Spray painted on drop cloths will do, I am sure we will find people to hold them up for us

Mission Bay is good. The spill over could go to St Helliers (local Nat MP office in an apartment one street back from the main road (Polygon Rd) so local businesses don't have far to go to whine at their MP

Parnel Rd is a prime target as there really aren't many parking places on adjacent roads. Ponsonby Rd is better as far as impact on business for a lunch/dinner run (tons of restaurants) Though a bit more adjacent parking and not so many picnic spots
Yep, John Key lives in Parnell - hopefully his neighbours can give him the message

Sorry Mom, I have had three days off this week for the Wgtn protest. I have a ton of work I must catch up on today and tomorrow and three reports to edit and reproduce on Saturday. I will make the event but doubt I will have the time to prep any banners for this one. Maybe the next one?
