I think we need to state clearly on it its a demonstration of how many more cars will be on the road if this proposal goes through and be given to every car that drives into the car park looking for a space. At least that way they will understand what we are doing.
They dont need to be huge 4 per A4 would be fine unless we want to say more then 2 per A4 perhaps

I'm sure some wordsmiths will be along in a moment with some headline catching phrase.

I'm wondering if meeting at 8:30 is a little late considering the cafe's start opening at 7:00 I'll plan on getting there about 7:30ish, suppose I could 'break down' in the entrance.......I know I know is GSX1400 and never likley to happen, people wouldn't belive me
Yes, it is late, I am ammending the first post to an 8am start. Got to have some beauty sleep after all. Mark and I will be on the road about 6:45am Flat whites for us please Mine is no sugar, Marks is 2 sugars!

I will talk to the wonderful PhantasmNZ shortly and then we can look to upload a flyer. I already have handouts for the assembled with the battle cry

Can you please make it generic (not Auckland specific) so we and others can use it for our Sunday brunches.

I actually managed to go and get a little bit of paid work done today I am home now and my brain is fully engaged on this once more.

    I have some questions.

Who has contacts with scooter (why do I always speel that sccoters) owners/clubs? The ASMC is already promoting this event to its members, we need to get the little guys along too, this affects them as much as it does us.

Who has contacts with other motorcycle groups/clubs that might also like a leisurely brunch on Sunday?

I will work on the details of the day and post them shortly.

Suffice to say, there will be speeches! I promise I will keep mine shortish There may be others along to support us that will want to talk too! I want lots of noise!

Oh, you are going to do something! UM, how about we get something as a base for you guys to use, take the template and change the details? I am not sure at this stage how often I personally want to be coming to Auckland every weekend, I suspect this will become a monthly committment for me. But it will be a good one every month

Just a thought - how about not pitching this primarily as a "protest" as such - but more of a "meeting" to discuss the issues - that way the regularity it justified, and there is a feedback loop - we could use this to gather the thoughts of other bikers who might not be part of the kb community.

As for scooters, there are about 25 million (slight exaggeration, but hey this is all about dodgy numbers) around the CBD - we'll just make the flyer scooter-inclusive (like "no motorway riding involved - bring yer moped!")

I have put a thread in the scooter forum just now, hopefully this will help spread the word.

Essentially what we are doing in NP. All getting together for a coffee - and to chew the fat over the ACC Levies. Us protesting? What on earth gave you that idea?
