Very well done Mom. Nice to meet you and put a face to a name. Thanks for all your effort, and those others that made it happen.

Nicely done everyone. Good atmosphere. Joe public seemed to be able to say hi and was reasonably OK with it all I thought. The only dodgy safety bit I saw was when the two cop cars set off at mach 2 past the chippy for some obviously very important mission. Now that could have been an interesting claim if one of us had been collected. Big ups to Anne and the team. Looking forward to the next one.

    Talking What a great day!

We are home at last. We also have no internet at home so have been driven from our pit to the local cafe - sad buggers we are

Thank you to all that turned out in what really was crappy weather to listen to me spout forth.

Great turnout of well behaved people. The Police actually made a point of approaching me at the end to thank me for the way things went. Absolutely zero problems from a well behaved crowd. The cafe where we had our lunch also thanked us for our business so a win, win all round. I talked to a lady out for a stroll and she was very interested in what we were doing and agreed totally with what we are saying. So another win for me.

    Special mentions

I would like to thank those mad buggers from the Norf that got up before the crack of dawn and made the trip down, you guys are the best! I would also like to specially thank Guess Who. He is a youngster and he rode all the way up from Cambridge this morning to take part in this protest. Now the weather south was even crappier than it was at Mission Bay. That youngster gets my vote for top effort of the day!

Yeah that was a great turn out (considering the weather) wasn't really that wet to be honest, just no dry spots anywhere. It did stop while the main attraction spoke though. Got me a free coffee which was a bonus. Thank you to those who do/done/did alot of work behind the scene. Quite a bit goes into making everything come together on the day, and this event was only thought of on Wednesday, fantastic effort!!

They'd just heard that the doughnut shop had opened early and wanted to get there before the queue of other cops got too long.

Well done to Mom!! Looks (and sounds) like a fantastic job all round. So wish I could have joined you, but Sunday mornings tend to have prior commitments on my part....

Big thumbs up that it seems to have gone down so well with the locals in the area, and the public in general.

    Great PR everyone.

Imagine the turn out if it had been a lovely sunny morning, imagine the hoards of cagers trying to find a park.
Glad it was wet and the inconvenience for the general public was pretty minimal because the message got through via attending media for sure.
    and that is what counts.
See every one at the sailing club next week eh?

We were standing right behind you lot at speech time. I was wondering how you would get a shirt big enough to go over the whole shebang!
