    HILARIOUS!

Seriously, Phil Goff has sworn to me face to face he will preserve ACC as it WAS not as it IS!
Its a godamn NZ treasure, a right and privellege NO other nation on earth has as well managed, and we need to fight tooth and fuckin nail to save it

Yes, we WILL vote against a sitting government over ACC issues!
It is for me too. Deep deep deep down I am quite socialist, everybody contributes some thing and everybody benefits.

the lazy sacks of shit will stay where they are -no where.but meanwhile those that are unfortunate enough to be working will continue to pay dearly for them, and our day in the sun on our motorcycles(thru ACC levies)while we are at it.

its called user pays LMAO its not us who are the "users"its the lazy bastards not working.

Until working for a living in this country becomes a badge of honour instead of a target painted on our backs things wont get any better and the cream wont rise to the top-it will just go somewhere else.

its simple math,we need to change the equations to get different results.

I have my SYNIC 'O' METRE switched on when any political party says its going to do any thing good for me, Ive seen to many say they are or arn't going to do some thing and then with in a few months just doing what ever they want, the introduction of GST was the Classic.
We should bring in a law like the States that a Prime Minister can only stand for two terms, Prime Ministers that stand for three or more terms tend to just burn out, and the nation gets sick of them.
As far as the Bikeoi goes we have just had a skirmish, there are some dirty battles on the horizon yet to be fought.

Whilst i chuckle theres a sense of agreement in the sentiment.Thing i find most amusing is the huge "to do" over the rego increase (yea yea its a bike forum..well sort of) but fact is working people in this country have been arse raped by "lazy bastards and vote seeking politicians" for decades in this country.Whilst the "to do" may result in lower rego no doubt the arse raping will continue by said lazy bastards and vote seeking politicians.Hence the need for victim funding the shortfall.

Ok, I give Labour one credit that no other party can have
I got an interest free shot at Polytech and University, and since paid it back.

They took away bursary as I was just ready to sit the exams

So the Nat govt, Jim Boigers, wanted me to mortgage my soul to go to school?
Nah, I just went and became a happy/unhappy/restless tradesman.

But had student loans been interest free when I was 16....who knows?

Now I work in IT, had vast experience as a public Servant and Union Delegate, among other life experience like the rest of you bikers

Ive never ever done well under National.
I have always lived and prospered under Labour, and I am NO ONES fuckin bludger, I work!

    Rant done
    Just ride.

I'd like to collect links to formal statements /actions on the subject of ACC and/or Bikers by the various Political Parties.

So at election time we can reward them appropriately.

So can you please post links to the parties actual statements.

I'm not saying you are lying, I just like to be able to read the statements "Out of the Horses Mouth" so I can judge their merit (or lack thereof) for myself.

    Here is another pro-biker post...

For example.. here they are opposing cutbacks in payments to homecare workers since it would place them _below_ the minimum wage.

Ive come across many people who have said they voted national simply because labour had been in too long. Do these people really deserve a vote?
Do they not realise that when the major party changes that huge backwards steps are taken? For example: the names of government departments must be changed, and new logos designed at massive expense to taxpayers?
LTSA must be renamed to LTA (purely for example, I cant keep up with the new names), at a cost of 2.5million dollars and we get a free new logo chucked in, drawn by a class of kindergarteners.
WINZ must be rebranded to God knows what etc etc, and to acheive what? They still provide the same service, it just costs us wage slaves a fortune to induct the new ruling govt.
What a bloody waste of time and money. Look how they try to remove all the heads of each department. It cost a lot to try and remove Barry Matthews from his post as head of Dept of Corrections. Why did he have to go? Coz he was labour appointed. Lol, it has nothing to do with someones actual abilities.
God forbid, our countries appointments were headed by actually CAPABLE people. AHAHAHAHA, I think I'll go to university, study economics, and then bleed taxpayers dry by working in politics.
If a head of portfolio is found accountable for a mistake, they get swapped with another ministerial portfolio, eg/ Lockwood Smith (now honourable speaker of house), held portfolio for minister of department of conservation. Cave creek tradgedy, minister of conservation takes accountability for inefficient construction of platform, swaps portfolio with minister of education.
In same election term, new crisis with student loans, new minister of education found accountable ( same person Lockwood Smith), swaps portfolio with minister of police!!! Lol, three portfolios.
When these mp's take responsiblity, they really need to accept it, and GTFO of parliament. Thats it, your disgraced, GTFO. I think we may need someone who is competent, to help run the country. A degree in economics does not qualify you to lead the people, respect, wisdom and capability should mean something.
You are elected BY THE PEOPLE, its an honour to represent the many, I think that a lot are in govt only for personal gains, wealth and power.
GOD HELP US ALL IF THE LIKES OF KING BRIAN GET A FOOTHOLD IN POLITICAL POWER.

come next election i say both labour and national can get fuct. vote for one of the small guys next time. i think some of them actually do care about nz and not themselves. national and labour are always at eachothers throats, they wont agree with eachother even when they should in the best interest of nz
    Thats whats up.

yeah I think whoever I vote for, is going to have concern for the environment.
All this talk of carbon footprints, ecological catastrophies etc... and all govts are still doing nothing.
I personally think your rego tax ergo your carbon footprint tax, acc levy etc.... should be based on the size and quality of your engine. For eg/ a v6, v8 or v12 driver should pay more than someone with a 1 ltr petrol engine, after all both road users only want to get from A to B. And a big engine diesel driver should pay a fair wack for their larger carbon footprint.
But anyway Im sure all this has been discussed.
Also, a person I know was selling illegal drugs for money that they had to pay to destiny church. I wonder what Brian Tamaki thought of that? I dont think he cares where money comes from that people give him.....
