    Burt Munro and ACC

Somehow we need to link in Burt Munro and the battle with ACC.
One of NZ's greatest biking legends and still fresh in the minds of the public with the movie plus the Burt Munro endurance ride is about to get under way.
What would Burt think of it all eh? Yep....bullshit.

Hit the nail on the head there buddy although you cant spell for crap. "A celebration of motorcycling"...... I'm not suggesting that we use his mug as a crusade banner, just that the Burt Munro is coming up and what a great opportunity to link in his passion and profile with our fight.

Oxygen is overrated but a ride.......what a splendid idea.

Don't even think of using his name for your ends without contacting his living relatives- like his son.

but the point I think the author was making in the relation between Burt and this ACC debarcle is that Burt was one man with a goal and vision for what he believed, and against public opinion and the odds he gave it all he had and the rest is history (and a bloody good movie)
on our own we are an individual if we join in the vision we are a force.

Burt you had a vision.... you had a goal.... and you ignored the critics and even the rules and authority and done what you believed in and won.
