    what can you noobs tell me about these?

    how many hours to a piston?

    I have the YZ250F 2001 and I love it. Dunno if that helps at all though.

    did my 2005 wr250f piston at 130 hours...it was still within specs though changed it anyway. Cost about 300 in parts.

    The WR250F's are a reliable bike, but as always it depends on how it has been treated. How hard it has been run and more importantly air filter maintenance, oil changes etc.

    No worries for carver then. He'll get 1000hrs from a piston.

    its been looked after, filter and oil done every ride...

    30yrs later, I'm still fairly intact. Something for younger folk to aim for

    Theres a kx250 and a rm250 in hamilton on trademe... Better option than the wr. You said you didnt want a 125... The wr is gona have less balls than a 125 and be much heavier

    The 05 yz would be a great option and priced right.
    the frame is great really nice and nimble and the 05 fork is way
    better then the older ones, hell i would have looked at this over my yzf .

    A friend I ride with has over 200 hours on his 2005 WR, original piston, original everything thing although noticed on the weekend rear sprocket looks almost as smooth as a brake disk...oh i done an oil change for him about 20 hours ago... that was a first also..

    why do 125's go so cheap?
