If we can have a committment from the opposition that this will be one of their main goals they will have my vote.
Do we have any committment from any of the opposition parties that state this?

interesting question, labour have said they support us but havn't heard them actually commit to reversing any changes, keep the pressure up and make sure it's an ellection issue
Phil Goff said 'We will definitely roll back any levy changes'.
I have it on tape.
Fat chance, they'll make a token gesture but they love the moolah as much as the Nats. They just redistribute the wealth differently.
I expect government will structure their moves on ACC so as to make them irreverseable.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yes we made a point of asking the specific question at the Auckland protest ride and Phil Goeff said Yes Labour will defiantly restore ACC if they get in!
If we get any increase after voting National all my life I'm very tempted to go with Labour even if its only over this one issue! I admit, a very narrow view after the bloody mess Labour made last time. But I have surprised myself on how passionate I feel about this ACC issue. Time will tell!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
im 29 years old, and i've never voted in a general election. (never felt like any party represents me) however, if this ACC business continues to go the way it appears to be (privatised and dismantled) i will most defintely be voting for labour next time round, simply in a bid to remove national.
i would strongly suggest anyone in a similar situation, or even better thinking of switching from national to another party, make their feelings known to national so they are aware of the kind of feelings they are stirring up out there.
Education not Legislation
People voted for "change" - that's what we are getting. I can't help but feel a bit annoyed at all those people that decided they were bored with the status quo.
National feel they have the mandate to do all this stuff - it gives them something to do - they are being divisive in their tactics, it's easy to get the rest of the population rallying against irresponsible antisocial "bikies" that "cause" accidents. They are a pack of cunts (am I allowed to say that here?)
What it is all about is diverting attention from the real issue - that is set up ACC so they can sell off the levied section to private - they will argue it's not profitable, private can run it better etc etc. Then they'll keep the highly profitable wage earner contribution section.
Hell yea - I would love it if the population voted these wankers out next election. Self serving arseholes - look at John Key, rich as fuck and he still milks the public purse for housing contribution etc. They'll all get away with whatever they can. Pricks.
