I hope you guys know what your doing. In Auckland when bikers wanted to protest in mall car parks the herald newspaper said something like "bikers want to disrupt mall goers".

    Few things:

You will be arriving at the mall after 12pm. The car park is already going to be full !

Have you actually got permission from the mall to use their car park for your protest?

You know lots of people will be doing christmas shopping right so I think they would be angry at seeing your protest take up parking spaces.

Parliament will be closing for the year soon so all the MP's will be on their holiday and won't see your protests.

    Hey guys and girls

I have just been e-mailed a petition from a member, apparently it has come from a labour MP, so we will get people to sign it and then send it back. when i posted the 1st post in this thread i suggested we should head to Wheatsheaf, if people are still keen then we can get together and plan our next step. Also i have heard from a reporter that there might be another national protest again has anyone else heard the same

As Izone drive is the last turn before the railway heading out of Rolleston towards Wards Rd and there are small townhouse type flats on the corner, the bottom end of Izone is presumably the area where we'll be congregating?
past the 1st roundabout there's a layby area

I looked on google maps. i see its just an area of shops. However on google maps it did show parking spaces on the side of the road and there was some poles with some signs on them that i couldn't quite read properly but i'm assuming they say something like " P60 " which would mean you can only park for 60 minutes or be towed away.

Back on subject. (stop feeding the trolls or people that do not know CHCH)
We will see you guys there, rain or shine.

What pisses me off is the amount of people that think they do not have to support this sort of thing.
And make weak reasons why they can not.

I bet you they will take any reduction in rego we can get tho.

So slackers turn up and help us and YOURSELF get a better deal.
Or never complain again about the price of rego.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.

LOL. That's because they DON'T have to support it. It aint a crime not to support it. LOL

Weak reasons? Like i'm not supporting it because i CAN afford to pay the increase because i'm not poor. Or I'm not supporting it because i'm not interested. LOL.
Why would someone support something if they CAN afford it and don't mind paying increased costs? LOL

What time do you expect to set off? I know you're meeting from 10.30am but just wondered when you'd actually leave? Just got something I have to do early Saturday and want to be there at the off.

    ......

We should be heading off about 12.00, you can join in at any stage you want to, there will be marshalls at the lights to direct everyone to the start point, Izone drive is an industrial area have been out to check it out, a heap of room for bikes didn't see any signs saying there was a time limit to be parked there. See you all there.

Note last time at The Peg ride, there was a pentition casually passed around, but don't think many people signed it before we headed off for the ride.

May wish to have something in place so more people are aware of it this time.

There are too many people telling us what we can and can't do in our lives today. Regardless of how you feel about the insignia he does have the right to use it (in no small part due to those who fought against the symbol). That might be ironic but it is his right.

You've said how you feel. He's said how he feels. Can that be the end of it and can we just focus on the ACC issue?

I think anyone not capable of doing 70 should actually take up the rear (Pun slightly intended) / ride closer to the back of the pack.

While is important everyone affected takes place - I'm sure a lot of people don't want it to be as hard on their clutch as the last ACC ride which resulted in a number of bikes running hot from the slow stop-starts and never getting up enough speed to cool down.

Should be a good ride, sure hope we turn some heads!
