    eek Dawn Parade "Cold"

Got up at 4.45 and decided it was a bit cold. Put on all the winter stuff including the silk balaclava. Headed out in to the very chilly early morning. As I live outa town it was a bit of a trip in....the long way you understand...... Managed to get some empty roads but wet ones. Cranked the old Gixxer up and had a ball. Got to Taradale early and went to the hill for the usual remembrance ceremony. Noted a lot of people with far to few clothes on for what would be one of the coldest days I have seen here for a long time. Herd may people comment on the bike gear and how they wished they had it. It was warm in the cows skin.
As the dawn broke and I headed home I note the snow was well down on the hills and wished I was up at the rally with the other KBer's. Bloody work....... Take care all, on your way home in the snow, and hope you all had a great trip away. Mind the cops I spoke to one at the BP shop on the way home. The cold makes em more friendly

Mrs Parade's little girl, Dawn, had to make do without us this morning...

I went down to the Wgtn one too - not the warmest morn we've had! Came home and lit the fire at 7 in the morn and sat by that for a few hours to defrost.

Crawled out of bed for Hamilton dawn parade, but I was a bit late.. Made it down in time for the last bit of the service thou.

Was mighty cold here too.. The missus complained bitterly when I got home and jumped back into bed.
