Wanted to test ride: 07+ CBR600RR

Know what are saying re the gsxr,s, but the k6/7/8/9 have the ergos so well sorted. They are very comfortable, adjustable and still a great sports bike. I did not like the k5 600 when I tried it, of even just sitting on a 2002 600, but the later ones are worth a try. Still, like you say, has to push the right emotive buttons too......
