Send a Private Message (PM) to pussy. He has an aero industry contact that does hard rechroming, not decorative.

Otahuhu hard chrome as a 2nd option. Or you could sound out your local hydraulic engineering shop? Assuming you pull the forks down yourself, it should be a relatively cheap process.

A honda? Start with a gallon of gas, move on to a box of matches and let your fingers do the striking.

    Anyone used Otahuhu Hard Chrome??

I can get them done at advanced in h town they do all my chrome work for my car resto business $85 a side for hard chroming but I have to get them machined so thinking it might be easier to get Otahuhu to do the whole job.

otherwise my mate is a fitter and turner and could it in the lathe but not sure about the process.

Any help would be great as I have just stripped the forks off today so want to get them down asap.
