insurance worries

i really need to sort out my insurance but i tried protecta,swan and the national auto club.the premims are too high with protecta giving me a quote of $1600 but their excess is too igh(12.5% if its not your fault and 25% for otherwise) and thats heaps if you have a bike worth 13g.
I dont wanna spen so much on insurance so if anyon can help out by suggesting insurance brokers please do.John baker semmed good but they dont do insurance for under 25's.......newas my stats would be an under 25 rider with an international overseas full license which expires in feb 2006(1 year from date of getting the license)...bike riding exp of prob 4- mths on a 250cc...was covered thru AMI before .......
anyone who can help a big thank you before hand......
