Thats the one Flyin CR250, you could start a cult and have it as the deity. Its that cool
no way, im a total 4 stroke convert

Ye until the DI 2T's come out
Reckon they'll put a kicker on it since it has the casing for it.
To be honest I am going to disagree with this. This 350 is probably not likely to be lighter than a 250 or more powerful than a 450. It is great that it gives people who are stuck in the middle, and there are a few, a new option but I think you will find some will still need(want) more power and some some will still need(want) a lighter bike. It's a great that we now have a choice in the middle but I don't see it as a panacea.
Just my 2 (probably uninformed) cents.
Smoke 'em if you have 'em
You run what you brung, and pray you brought enough
My GUESS is they have decided or discovered the 450 is to powerful and you looose alot of go forward in wheel spin ie twisting the throttle but no go forward. The 350 contributes towards solving this issue. Combined with the fact they can design a lighter frame for this bike as well, is how they come up with their promo blurb. With my bike being 200cc with a 125 size frame I can see their logic and it works. I think you'll find it will race against the 450's only time will tell if they are correct!
Re DI-Direct injection- IF they actually develop it it will bring 2T's back. From what I have read you will have more power, no/less smoke, cheap 2T maintenance with a four stroke power curve. From the power curve I saw on the net at the same CC's the 2T power curve was almost identical to the 4t just had a bit more HP.
Interesting times I wonder if they (Ktm or whoever) will actually ever put one into mainstream production?
There is no doubt the 4T climbs better and has more tractable power. Gonna miss the fun factor of the 2T whang though!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

why oh why do we not have di 2ts they have been makeing them in skis for years
like the lecy start but would never buy a dirt bike without a kicker
"The world is a strange sad place. Ride as often as possible and try not to think about it".
Its an MX bike though tommo not meant to be hours into the bush with multiple starts on one battery because of ruts and climbs. You don't get that at the MX or indoor tracks.
The quick push of a button my be worth the extra weight of the Battery and starter motor? Thats if it starts well after its been down??
