Basic Handling Skills, but I don't want to pay $120 again?

Ok so i did my basic handling skills ages ago and a defensive driving course then the aa refused to give me a license incorrect id crap anyway i now have the suitable id but have to re sit my basic handling skills. I am in the northshore and dont mind traveling a lil to get a good deal pretty much i need someone that can do the test dirt cheap. Mostly because i have been riding for some time and dont need to pay 120 + dollars to be told how to ride in baby steps.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated cheers.

Why do you have to re-do the BHS course?

Even if they say you do, the place you got it from should be able to reprint you the certificate.

You should still have your certificate from the BHS test. No reason for the AA to take it?

basic handling certs dont run out
Who ever you did it with, a reprint can be done (some may charge for this)

Unless one has lost their licence then a resit will have to be done

the AA are well known to be a bunch of prats though. Sticklers for the rules with no ability to use common sense when required. I liken them to airport customs, can't get them to smile either.

Nah I just did mine a month a go or so they give you a cert and there the end piece is pulled off by AA when you go to do the theory test but you keep the top part.

If you have not done your theory test yet and have lost the cert you should be able to pay like $25 and the place you did the BHS should give you another one.

I still don't understand from you post why you even have to do your BHS again does make any sense.

Think you should've followed through the process instead of thinking you knew best

Danniel here i did my bhs then the aa said i had insufficient id so i had to wait from when i was 15 to now. Im now 18 and they will except my 18+ card as id before i only had a British full birth cert no photo no go policy applied and i was on my mums passport 8 years ago which of course isn't valid so yeah it was more a waiting game and in that time ive lost the bhs and probably wont be able to find the guy that did it (he ran courses in a carpark)
