Aranga Beach/ Ripiro Beach help please

    Hi

Amongst all those well-travelled folks here, I hope there'll be someone with more info on Aranga Beach...or rather, the whole stretch from Poutu Point to Kawerua in the north.

On the maps it looks like there's beach access at Glinks Gully.
Anything further south like Tikinui/ Taingaehe or Rototuna?

I just downloaded the tide-tables and going by those...and our approach route and times that morning...we wouldn't have time to make it down to Pouto Point and North Head, then all up the beach to Aranga with a little time buffer needed, just in case of a break down or such.

But I'd like to run the longest stretch possible...

Amongst the bikes are a couple of 650V-Stroms....fully packed for a fortnight....which would make some deep, soft dune-crossings a bitch....so I'm after some softc*ck access point(s) a little south of Glinks....if they exist.

Many thanks for any replies/ thoughts and advice.

Sorry mate, only saw this now, as I'd tuned out of KB due to the silence here.
Found a Kiwi 4WD forum and those guys had some good advice and links.

    Thanks for the reply !!
