I'd personally get an old jap bike.
No it's a piece of crap, but if I got it really cheap I'd buy it and putter around on it, but dont expect anything on it to last any rough treatment AT ALL.

"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
WTB: Hyosung bikes or going or not.
dont waste your money, theyre pieces of shit
a flogged out japanese bike is a lot less likely to fall apart.
the engines on those chinese pieces of shit dont seem tooooo bad though. seem to be quite reliable, just really gutless for their size
With in the first day you will replace every bolt because the standard ones will brake like they are made of plastic, if you jump it the frame will crack, Brakes work good and engine isnt to bad but those are the only surviving parts on my mates one. Buy a older honda or sumthing
Youtube: Chinese dirt bike
Dont waste your money with that they will last probly 3 rides and then theyre worthless
i have a 98 XR250. http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=110995
it has been well looked after by us. how tall are you? how much you looking to spend?
This would be much better than a chinese bike
Is it pronounced Shine-ray or does it rhyme with Whineray?
ah they are wicked... if you want to spend heaps on repairs and not much riding
i was gonna get a 04 yz250f for 4.5k but the i couldnt get fiance due to a united video debt of 96 dollars which i got ripped off on and refused to pay so i went to baycorp..which i paid but its still on my record so i couldnt get the dam bike
Cheap branded bikes like that are the ones that we loathe turning up to our trail rides. They are easily spotted by the trail of discarded parts leading to the broken down remains and a disgruntled rider in need of rescue.
Some days you are the bug, some days you are the windshield
i bought Jorja a new shineray 150 as a first trail bike.
Never again --Nuff said??
