Big hunk of conspiracy theorists bait right there......

I am tempted to bite, but my typical kiwi apathy has saved me the effort.

Why is that related to conspiracy theories?
The fact is that the UK has suffered several terror attacks and foiled a couple more in the last few years. Ask anyone traveling on the London Underground if surveillance of dissident groups bothers them.

What is even vaguely "tinfoil-hat" like about the fact that there have been, and without control, probably would/will be another terrorist attack on the UK? If you were meaning the conspiracy that it was government planned in the first place, why the hell would they go to such lengths to make sure the same thing doesn't happen again as public support drops hugely for either occupations of Iraq or Afghanistan?

Yeah, the fact that the anti terror squads were running that EXACT exercise at the EXACT sites at the EXACT same time.....

the reason is to give the governments unprecedented controls is a supposed democracy. Controls that are more reminiscent of dictatorships.

You can believe what you want to believe, you can believe the press, you can believe the conspiracy theorists or you can believe the governments. It is up to you.

For me, both major incidents stink to high heaven.

For me it has no relevance to this topic. Whether the government has anything to do with it or not, there ARE terrorists who you can assume, have a background in making themselves heard on certain subjects, and they DO engineer attacks all over the world, and you're really optimistic about your case if you think that each attack in recent history is the governments doing. See what I'm saying? Good. I don't see how 9-11/7-7 effects whether or not the governmental powers should be watching over possible domestic terrorists, though

Are you telling me that 7/7 and 9/11 were inside jobs?

By the USA & the UK?

One government that can't keep secret the fact that its President got a blow job in the Oval Office, and the other with a Secret Service where on any given day, half the staff are working for the KGB/FSB?

It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

    Waving?

    Lane splitting?

    The Morman Few?

    Chain issues?

    Parts for sale?

You never know who might be listening.... there is that Black Chevy Suburban outside my house...
