well here is how the last 2 weeks have been
2 weeks ago from this coming tuesday i take it in.... and they give me a scooter..... then i go back on thursday cause i needed my bike for last weekend (even though i didn't ride it at all i might have needed it) then go back monday and ricky is sick so take it in tuesday and they give me a cbx400f.... and say they'll know by friday.. call them yesterday and it's next in line so first thing monday....

oh and the cbx is a mighty beast. It gets that whole oscillating bucking horse motion in corners which is a little unsettling. Also i start her up yesterday morning and the end of the exhorst fell off and the baffle came out. Luckily i was at home and it was a quick fix....

That being said it is quite fun to ride might ask mike how much he will part with it for

the end cap fell off the zxorst on the mighty CBX yesterday. found it but it's a bit munted where a car ran over it. So now it has basically a straight through exhorst, might as well have just an iron pipe on for an exhorst...

On the plus side the now "racing" straight through exhorst does make it run a lot better, still buck like an unbroken horse it you try and dip it into a corner though

Just not a touch on the six hundy eh? Lucky you got the Honda as a loaner bike as opposed to the Zooki by the sounds of things.
Took the Mrs bike to town today for some new feet, and the chain felt odd so that I thought to myself I must tighten it up. The mechanic says later on you realise the chain and sprockets are bout stuffed. (Rolley eyes and moan to myself) No I didn't. Anyway I picked up the bike later with the drivetrain parts ordered and went to scrub the tyres in so that they did not not have big wide chicken strips like the old ones Anyhow, when I lay the bike into corners esp with a bit of gas on and the thing was shuddering like crazy! Not really sure how the Mrs put up with it?? Be nice to jump back on the trusty little 6 hundy tomorrow. Not that the ZX9 is normally too bad, But it's not often crazy critters like me are allowed on it

cheeky young punk! its getting lovingly carted into town everyday thank you very much. As for squaring the tyres, the most risk that rear tyre is at is when I go for a hard thrash and open the gas on the way out of corners! I spent that last ride out to coro reminding myself to go easy on the exits to STOP it getting flattened.
and I do believe i've seen more squared tyres on your bikes me old chum!
