    Honda BROS gearing

I have a Honda Bros and I do a lot of long distance riding.
At 100kph I'm doing 5500 rpm which I think is too high as I have oodles of torque at lower revs I was wondering has anyone mucked around and found a setup that works for them in regards to ratios?
My current gearing setup is factory

Check with your local bike shop regards availability of a rear sprocket, with 3 or 4 less teeth. (gears it up a bit) How many less would/could depend on cc of your bike. (400 or 650 cc ??? )

    tis the lowly 400.
I will check the shops. I just thought I'd walk in with at least minimum knowledge of what I want

A smaller rear sprocket would be the cheapest option. 2 or 3 less teeth would be ok I think. Check what is availabile. And change it when you get your next new rear tyre (but dont throw away the old one in case you dont like the change) ... so its not a special wheel removal.

I've followed a few 400's ... they go alright. Not "lowly" at all. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

I'm not ashamed about it. it's my favourite bike so far. the custom exhaust on the V-twin sounds beautiful and the uprated suspension keeps amazing me.
I have scuffed pegs as testament to how well it sticks.
and it's forgiving for the odd cockup I do.
and group rides keep teaching me what I didn't know.
