    Fucking Wind!

I took the bike to work today and on my way home it was very windy. Put my helmet on the ground as I was starting the bike and a gust of wind took the helmet and rolled it round the carpark with me chasing it. Its stuffed now. Well its structurally fine, it just looks like a helmet thats been rolled across a carpark. I am fucking pissed off about it.

at least it wasnt my Freddy Spencer Rep Arai, just my Shoei Raid 2, but still.

I'm just pissed off: that has never ever happened before. I have dropped helmets off of handlebars, and seats before, my theory is that placing it on the ground means it cant fall off anything.

but grrrrrr. totally my fault for not thinking.

I often put it next to something when I do that (such as a wall, the front tyre, etc).

Had the same thing happen to my Schwantz replica on the Takas on a violently windy day when I stopped to pull someone out of the fence. Except it was rolling all over the road.

I should've left it on. Then when I got home I tripped on the stairs and held the helmet out in front of me, severely creasing one side of the helmet. Just to add insult to injury.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

yep when you park the bike the wheels always turned left (most bikes lean left on the stand) I tuck my helmet into the well created by the turned wheel, that way its out of the rain, up against the bike, and no retard is likely to give it a kick walking past

Burt Munro Beach Racing was cancelled due to the wind this afternoon.

Locals forcast it would reach 90mph on the sand.

It's been blowing a gale for 5 weeks aparently.
