I agree!! Once you have been over the bridge once you will ask yourself what the fuss was all about.. Believe me, I've been there. four months ago I was petrified of the bridge, now I go over twice a day in rush hour. Even lane split if I'm in the right frame of mind. But like I have said before, pick your first day, make sure its nice with no wind. That will give you the confidence, no looking back after that.

Thats the thing... its been quite windy the last few months, well here anyway. I don't like traffic at the best of times, mainly because I can't get her up to 100km without it sounding like crap. PS the massey/albany run is more fun!!!

The bummer was didn't even go to the pub!!!!! GO FIGURE
Hey hey hey well done gal, don't worry about not going to the pub, you didn't miss anything, its over rated anyway, just a bunch of leather clad bikers hang out there anyway.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Know what ya mean, I was lucky and had a few really nice days a couple of weeks after I got the bike so did my first run over then.

I often go to the Puhoi Pub .
usually i walk there for two reasons
first i can drink as much as i want and then just stagger home cause i live 500m down the road
second i would feel a bit out of place with my L plate parked up with the other bikes so i usually park out the front of the shop and walk the rest of the way LOL

If you follow me over I'll break all the wind for you and you can cruise behind me in comfort...
