I agree, there's no place in this for a renegade, we're all part of a group and if someone upsets that then it reflects badly on us all.
My concern is that
1) the logic behind the proposed increse is wrong and misleading
2) ACC was set up to have a NO FAULT POLICY - this proposal changes that
3) Proposed increases to us but not every other sport/past time is unjust
4) Why rape us more when we actually pay an acc levy, we are actually the
good guys here, Rugby, Soccer, Netball, Cyclists pay nothing for enjoying their sport with the exception of a minimal amount within their subs
5) Why is the media not jumping on this more and asking these question?
Well lets all wait and see what comes out in the press release, the reality id we could all just rego our bikes for a day whenever we want to ride and send their processing costs sky high!

I do hope that this does(n't) get printed...what an awful thing that would be.
Dear sir,
John Key was heard to say on TV One’s Breakfast program this morning 30/11) that, and I quote, “Bikies are going up and down the street rioting”. Oh really? Who can truthfully say they’ve witnessed such a thing? Protest rallies have been, and are being, held all over the country. Plus the big one in Wellington 17/11. Not a single instance of trouble or violence has occurred at any of these events. At best this is simply another lame attempt by the govt to paint motorcyclists in a bad light. At worst, it is a lie. One more in a long list on the subject.
Angry motorcyclists have, so far, allowed those with faith in the peaceful democratic process to direct the campaign against unjust and extortionate ACC levies. Disruptive action has been planned by some, but then cancelled because the majority do not condone such tactics.
But, with utterances like John Keys above, and with today's ACC announcement that levy proposals remain unchanged, it shows that the peaceful way isn't working. ACC have completely ignored all argument against their shonky statistics. Unless the Minister can front up with commitments to not target sub-groups like motorcyclists, it will be assumed that peaceful protest is going nowhere, and more vigorous action is a real possibility.
Why would that happen?
Frustration. We have proved that every single figure announced by ACC or Govt is wrong, but they are not listening. The media has repeatedly failed to report even one counter figure we have produced. There is almost nothing reported on the rest of ACC’s proposals, and because motorcyclists have done their homework, we know that…
You Are Next.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
Nice... maybe "You ARE Next"

May I suggest we all prepay as much registration as we can then - while the ACC component is low?
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details
Either we buy as much as we can in advance of the chgs or we put them on hold and pay nothing. Can't be both (unless we buy up large then put on hold when that expires, but that feels like missing the boat somehow).
Bloody hell they don't seem to give a shit that this will fire us all up before the meeting tonight. Seems to me ACC don't give a shit about Dickhead Smith!
Unless with all this talk of rioting (Jon Key) that they are setting us up the be the badies in all this! I'm one that would like stronger action, I think you guys should have ridden right to parliament. But I am also a little worried that we become a pawn in their game? Its a fine line. Its all about public education imho and we don't have the media presence to let everyone know we are fighting for their/our ACC scheme now, not so much our increased levies. Very tricky, especially with Jon Key and National being so strong in the polls!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Listening to interest.co.nz's frontman on the radio this morning, it's obvious he's pissed off with Key's lack of will to reform the tax system. Key is starting to look like a yes-man who is only focused on getting elected next time before attempting to rock the boat and make long-overdue changes. He looks lame at the moment.
