    Let's not inconvenience the public

Arguably one of the more pathetic responses espoused. But you're entitled to your opinion.

Now then, so many of you opposed to the mall rally assert you'll do anything reasonable to support the cause and further the protests.

    Well then. Here's the challenge.

Tomorrow night we expect to meet Nick Smith at Akarana Yacht Club. 7:30 sharp.

Tuesday night. Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi (Nats) is holding a function at 131 Kolmar Rd...free food and wine, I gather.

So here's your chance to make good on your assertions of proactivity.

    I shall be at both.

I shall expect ALL of you to join me/us at both venue...unless of course being at both would be just too inconvenient, too time consuming, too much of a bother.

It is my intention to contact the Herald and the various radio and TV media to announce that WE will be at these venue in force.

No public inconvenience excuse for you.

And so if the turn out is maybe me and a few others, who will be to blame?

You! For sitting on your hands hoping 'they' will make it all go away.

See you all Monday and Tuesday nights.
    Only 'Now' exists in reality.

The major problem is that you seem to suffer under the assumption that everyone should feel, think and act the same way you do. Of course they don't and this seems to be causing you a large amount of angst.

Perhaps you should run a poll so you know how many will be attending?

So you're making a big song and dance, bully for you. When the Anti Levy crusade is successfull, you'll be able to sit down and say "I did it all but that cunt 'Trash never lifted a finger."

Maybe ... just maybe you should think about what people are actually saying ... it seems that you see one thing Let's Not Inconvenience The Public, and lots of people are actually saying - Target the right places. Personally, I would not support a mall protest - as it does not target anyone in particular - it may leave people confused and really farked off.

I think that educating the public is a better way of dealing ... people do not know that they are also being targetted ... make them aware ...

I would join you at both, but as I don't finish work until 7:00 Monday morning, I think I'll have to give both of these a miss. I can't see anyway that I could get to Auckland in that short time.

However this is the type of protest that I would support. It doesn't require large numbers like the Bikeoi, yet keeps motorcyclists in the forefront of politicians awareness. I hope that there is a good representation at both venues.

    I won't be there...I'm at school camp.

I do what I can, dude, and I won't be bullied, neither by you nor ACC.

You are not my keeper, and you have no right to take that sanctimonious tone with me!

And so having proselytised on so much, can we expect to see you at either of the Nat Party meetings; or are you just too busy proseltysing here?

Maybe you have some amazingly secret way of 'educating' the public which, as yet, you prefer to keep to yourself.

All I see is from you is proselytising amongst a few puttering bike runs with a teddy up your blouse.

Do not demand that we do anything Dpex. Your tone is that of a bloody bully.

I will be at both if I can get away from work but I want to make it clear that YOU do not represent me.

Regards Nick Smiths meeting tomorrow night at The Royal Akarana Yacht Club, the more motorcyclists that go the better.
Numbers both inside the meeting (which is a public one) and outside are seriously needed!.
We need to be seen in strength and to be doing these things only to make ourselves heard and Understood by Mr Myth and his Ilk.For now.
So to all who are reading this, please, make the effort.Assemble at Okahu Bay reserve at 6.30pm and we'll ride from there.
Every day above ground is a good day!:

All this post shows is that you really have no idea who has been doing what for this campaign!

Well, I may or may not be attending tomorrow night, but if I do I will NOT be attending the next night. Some of us, dont actually live in Auckland, unbelieveable as that may be. Some of us, have also done some really hard yards since these ACC levy increases were first announced. Some of us, have organised and been part of some fairly intense protest action for the past month or so. Some of us, are still working very hard to make sure that this issue remains in the public eye.

Some of us, me included at this point are getting a bit ticked off with you and your NOISE! Put up or shut up! You are not helping.

Some of us also dont trumpet about how we are not getting supported, because we are.

I suggest you withdraw that comment mate, I find it personally offensive even though it was not directed personally at me.

"proselytising" is nothing to with what a LARGE number of us have done, and are continuing to do!

Oh dear. Are you actually aware what Nasty has done?

While some are frantically blowing their own trumpet, they often fail to notice the huge amounts of work being quietly done by others.

Bummer it's in Auckland and work will prevent me going any case.

And to those attending be loud and in his face!

OK using basic language that people can understand .. is a great start ... trying to show that you are intelligent by using polysyllabic words shows a true lack of the use of intellect. I have a great way of educating the public ... I SPEAK WITH THEM!
