I would agree (assuming you stick to the posted legal limit), in that the biggest impact will be the skill of the rider, not the performance of the bike.
Yes it would, unless there are alot of straights...... Good bike the GSXR - but I would say that![]()
Both are easily capable of 100kph so no problems.
It's pretty much down to personal preference. I'd say a lot of people (myself included) would be faster in general on a 600 than a thou because you can nail it harder through corners without worrying so much about the torque biting you in the arse.
As others have said, as long as there aren't too many straights a 600 should keep up OK if the rider's onto it. There's pretty much nothing between them in the handling department these days - the days of a 1000cc bike being a big heavy lump are long gone. The only things that make much difference between the classes is the power and how it's delivered.
I'd say the rider's going to make more difference
