600's own thou's anyway on NZ roads.

Only squids on thous open it up on the straights to get ahead to prevent getting owned. And even then, coming into the next corner, the smaller bike will be right up the inside/outside anyway...

    Point and squirt is boring.

Gimme my rare 400 over a common thou anyday

Heck no! Give me a common SQUID mobile over a 400 anyday! Skilled riding is for nubs, were past that stage, and now is the time to open the throttle and scream hell yeah!

Did'nt have problem dispensing a new GSXR 600 today round the Port Hills on my Busa .....seems there's a lack of 'How to ride skills ' out there with the younger people ?? I had a good laugh anyway ...good ride

A thou will beat me and my 6-hundy any day. Cause Im a fucking nana who is scared to get his knee down and too cheap to get the suspension setup properly.

I'd say the second you take it off the track it's down to ride skill and the road you pick.

Aaaaaah, good ol' "small bike syndrome". If they're fast it's all down to the riders skill, if they're slow it's 'cos they've got a small bike. Typical blather from folks with something to prove.

Warr on a 1984 Yamaha FJ900 would keep guys like the legendary Loosebruce on gixxer thous in sight - not side by side - but in sight. Bruce was one of the fastest public riders in the country without a doubt.

Goblin on a piece of shit ZXR400 would keep up with guys on machines twice as fast.

Sujilite would turn up on a 1989 ZXR750 with dodgy forks and dissappear almost a minute infront of anyone.

Motoracer and Two Smoker on RG150's would overtake litre bikes on the outside of corners.

Yaya - I know your turbo, NOS Hayabusa can do 400kmph - Can you???
    Gonna have to agree.

The other side to the coin though is

Equal riders, except for the top 1-2%, the thous gonna kick butt. They're just much easier to ride fast. (not necessarily well though)

Or folks who understand the difference in torque put out by a 1000 compared to a 600.
