Yeap! I had boots on. but they didnt have any side supports or anything. I believe they helped keep my bones inside the skin!! With shoes on i think i would have the bone splinters spiking through the skin! Not nice!

Not sure on the next bike yet. I'm looking at buying a house at the moment so the next bikes probably going to be a cheaper one.. Maybe an SV650 or something cruisy.. Not sure yet. If i had heaps of spare cash, it would be an 05 R1 no question...

shit dude.... I feel for ur. I slide my 3 week old bike down the road at around 70~80k's last sunday.

if you need something to past time while healing up at home just PM me, I have a good collection of movies.

I was lucky to not be hurt by the tarmac, except a very hard elbowing of myself into the chest. suspected bruised / cracked / broken rib.

I recon its the bits of rain and crap on road that is causing all these crashes... and also having to adjust our head to wet / winter riding from our summer mood.

    take care...

    Thumbs up

    Hi A

Very sorry to hear and see (nasty shots of the bike) that you have had a fall.

Good to hear that you are positive and upbeat

Good gear you can't beat it when you really need it.

    All the best

Shit mate, bad luck! Was a good looking bike, and a good make too
Heal up quick, and don't stay off the saddle any longer than you have to.

PS: Can I buy those tyres off you?

PPS: I hear the 04 R1 was the best year.

Ouch mate, sorry to hear that and damn about the bike!
