    Which 250 should I get?

    Hey all,

Been around the forums for a while thought I would ask the group. Which 250 is best?

Looking at a CBR, GSXR and a Ninja. Which one is the fastest?

Maybe look up the manufacturer stats and then compare kw to weight ratios.

They'll all find their way into the ditch at an equal speed

............. Seriously much of a muchness, better to find a well looked after machine rather than a specific make/model. Although if you must have the fastest learner legal bike around look at 2 strokes.

The fastest one is the one ridden by the rider with the most ability.

A skilled rider on a GN250 will pass you on the outside if you don't know what you're doing.

If you're on a learners.. why the need for speed? You WILL stack it and it WILL cost you heaps to fix the fairings up. Buy a bike without fairings that's been beaten up a bit, then trade up after a year. GN!

Words of wisdom spill effortlessly from Jimbo's mouth.

Don't chose a bike which is beyond your abilities, at the very least it's only 18 months on a slower bike while you do your 6L and 6R. Better 18 months of slight frustration than a lifetime in a hospital bed or in a casket

If you're interested in getting the 'fastest' I doubt you'll obey the speed limit so why observe the licensing laws? Get the biggest and fastest bike you can and go hard.

    But NIMBY thanks.
