Speachless really. Have no idea what Quasievil was meaning or implying by 'Flyingpony is a good name for a susuki rider'. I thought 'Flyingpony' was just a cool alias. No bad vibes.

Sorry to disappoint you Quasievil, I'm in no hurry to replace my bike. Still haven't reached the 12k service schedule (getting close though). Figure there's quite a few more years service life in her dispite needing some minor wear & tear repairs much much earlier than expected. Was expecting chain & sprockets to reach 30k.

Chains and sprockets try either Budget motorcycles in Wilsons Road
or Cycletreads or Street and Sport in Manchester street

shop around a bit,but make sure you buy decent quality or you'll just end up replacing it more often

I'd be interested in knowing how your using this chain wax, as for a product to lube your chain, how about "chain lube" Its generally designed to be tacky so it doesnt spit off everywhere. Maybe your using too much of the chain wax and its causing grit and stuff to stick to it and therefore causing too much wear on your chain. Just ask the guys at the shops mentioned by Kickaha, they would probabaly also show you how to apply it as well.
Also some of us may be out Ruapuna on Sunday bucket racing, come out and introduce yourself
