As I understand it both the Ratana movement and the Maori king are the biggest voices within the Maori population.

The Ratana church is also a powerful political presence.

I suggested in another thread that i felt thats where we need to go to get the message out to the majority of the Maori's.

Their elected few are ripping off their people big time.
I have not had a reply to any of the emails sent to party members over the past 6 weeks and I take it from comments on here neither has anyone else.

Yes! and lets not forget the carbon credits commodity bribe that Nick just gave them for all of OUR tax payer funded pine forests that they can sell for tens of millions of dollars. The dirty lowlife cunt.

If national didn't have their support , it's be all over, rover.

The score card so far is :

National . ENEMY - and being targeted
ACT Fudging. Their agenda is on a different level
Maoris ENEMY - and being ignored

    Labour Ally
    Progressive Ally
    Greens Strong Ally
    Dunne Strong Ally

Targeting the Maori party needs to be different to national. It's a bit of a weird structure, they don't have electorate offices or such like do they ?

Emailing them is a waste of time they totally ignore emails.
I have trouble believing this post!
ACT not the enemy? FFS They didn't even need a bribe, lock stock and barrel behind the proposal. You honestly believe ACC would be safe in ACT's hands, I should coco!
The minor parties are not the issue, they will do deals on whatever enables them to obtain thier core goals.
Niether ACT or the Maori (elite) Party proposed this agenda, the Nats did.
Spread our resources too thinly we end up as spit roasted bikers who took their eye off the ball.
Concentrate our protest where it belongs or we will live to regret it.
NATS and ACC putting the blame on Bikers.

It was suggested the other day that the elderly are starting to feel vulnerable about the possibility that ACC may start looking closely at them.

Has anyone considered approaching Grey Power to see if we can get them on side?

Now, now. Don't get all negative and drag others down because something went wrong for you.

There are a lot of threads proposing protest action, some either clash with peoples commitments or just don't manage to pique their interest (ref Westfield flop). As far as I could see, only a couple of people made a firm statement of attendance. Check around and see who's actually attending.

Yes ACT is definitely the enemy. The only thing different about them is that they are upfront about their belief that ACC should be privatised. I don't like it but find it more acceptable than the Nat's position which I still believe is a hidden agenda to privatise ACC.
First they came for the bikers but I wasn't a biker so I said nothing. Then ...

Actually when this all began I heard Tariana Turia state that the reason they supported it was so that the people could have their say. So I actually don't believe the Maori Party are ENEMY. Although I haven't kept up to date with any comments after that.

Yes you're right mate, they do appear to do that.

I certainly agree we need to approach them and get a clear idea from them of why they have supported the levy increase thus far.
