The shining, magnificent splendour of KTM ownership helps to compensate for some of my inadequacies...
(but I sure wish I had a bigger bloody TV lol)

Yeh we're taking the piss. Well I am lol.

But coming off my past bikes, RM250, YZ250, KX250, KX125, RMZ250, CRF250X.. My KTM is by far the preferred bike out of all of them. But its obvious, it all comes down to personal preference. When I go buy a new bike in about 7/8 months time I'm going to consider quite a few brands

    I wouldnt mind trying the new RMX450, TXC310, 350SXF, WR250.

Fit bugger like you might be back in action a bit sooner than that vazza. No Husaberg on your 4 stroke shortlist? A fairly high 'powered' rider told me best 450 he's ridden, and don't forget 390 either.

i wouldnt mind have a go on a txc310, i dont use all the power of the 450, and the 310 should be a bit lighter.

ha haa, yeah that was aimed at you lloyd, did you notice the subtlety? i'll go back in my hole now... promise... strictly ON topic. Talking about not needing as much power as you think... had a test ride on a 2009 200 EXC the other day ($8000) it was awesome.. gave me a fright when it tried to lift the front wheel over my head. I was positively surprised. So i've now gotta look at 250's AND 200's. I just wish there were more gassers around to test ride

Yeah Dave mentioned today that things were looking up in that department, new bike not far away now then?

Be good to have another rider back. You looked into the 250 four strokes at all? The more I play on mates YZF250's the more I love them....
Not sure I could go back now tho, after finally being able to pass Dave up the Rimu Road hill I think I'm sold on the big 4 banger
