Thanks everyone who turned out for this

Awesome guys....great coverage TV1 too![]()
It is entirely possible to teach an old blond new tricks!!!
Thanks to all who joined in today. Great effort especially on such a nice day.
It looks like we have the spokeswomen team for Auckland: Anne and HanneThat really represents the two most angry nasty bikers we could muster. Perfect.
Great effort from all the volunteers as well
Theflash providing the cards
CrAzYMoFo providing the coal
PrincessBandit providing the oranges
Mom flirting with theand speaking up
Les for getting the TV there(ish)
Fat Max singing (when do we get the album?????)
and last but not least all the "delivery" bikers. Have a save ride.
Also nice touch with the tape-on protest pages. (Step up and be named)
Hope to see you all in the new year when we ride again ...
Until then - have a nice Christmas and a good start to the New Year.

The stuck (packing tape) protest pages were from me, I'm sure work didn't mind me using up their photocopier toner.
Was a good ride, turnout and day.
Dr Jackie Blue's door was locked in Mt Roskill, and I didn't think the card/coal would last stuck on door till Monday.
Thought about sneaking home, smashing coal up and blowing them under her door with my exhaust pipe, but if I was going to rev the viffer that high, I would have to engage the front brake, select a gear and let the clutch out (it just wouldn't be right otherwise)
Will deliver it Monday when open.
Cheers
Theflash.
PS: next time I'll get organized and get double sided tape.
Awesome effort everyone - firmly believe that there was nearly as much impact from this ride as there would have been from a big long distance motorway trek. Was lots of fun to lead the pack up Queen st along with Maha and Mom and the noise with a hundred-odd bikes bouncing off rev limiters (where fitted!) was just fantastic.
Shame TV1 was late - but great story anyway - arguably a better story than the queen st ride would have been for it's novelty "something different" value. Watching the footage though made me think we should have a few xmas decs on the bike though -lol
Shame the blackbird let me down outside Dave C's office - (thanks 4 the push guys!) had to join Ixion in the "keep it running or else" club for the rest of the ride. - even the promise of prime time TV coverage wouldn't make the battery do it's stuff (though there were some good shots - would've actually cleaned her up a bit if I'd have known)
Bloody good morning - really showed that the support hasn't dried up - either amongst ourselves, the public or the media. Good on you all involved!!
The noise from the Harleys running straight pipes was great. Certainly got everyones attention! Seeing toddlers admiring Xmas window scenes at Smith and Caughys, looks like they had Santa long forgotten in the wake of the bikers auditory bombardment of the city 10am Sat morning.
Bring the noise again 4 sure, especially stop start traffic in an echo chamber like Queen St.
What I saw in the face of most morning shoppers was an admiring / adoring? smile for bikers. Every inner child wants a bike, thats why I have 9 of them

I think we made a subtle shift today - moving slightly on from "we'll stay out of your way, and not make any disruption at all to your life, and not make too much noise"
Today's protest was a "slow ride" (both on Q st AND delivering the pressies with the TV crew) - and we did inconvenience a few cages here and there. We also made a LOT of noise - we revved the motors, we hit the horns. All things we really stayed largely away from to now.
The public though really got it - Q St was just fantastic - stopping at every light was just the best way to get attention and we followed all the road rules (apart from that pesky no-entry sign - eh Maha ?)
Great ride again. Awesome ride up Queen Street... unfortunately couldn't see much as I was riding behind an enormous arse with a guitar sticking out of it... kinda blocked out the sun
