    Powdercoated rims?

    Hey guys,

Has any one here ever powder coated there rims?

If so, did they last very long? or did they scratch real easy?

I've got about ten hours so far on my new bike which came with powder coated rims. So far so good...... Obviously the tip of the rim will never last due to tire changes and just wearing on the tire under compression, but the rest seems to be holding up ok!

Other option is a spray can, cheap and nasty but ya can afford to fix em up when needed...

Pretty sure my 640A's black rims ( ex-factory) are anodized. It only took getting stuck in one bog hole to scratch the bejeezus out of the rim.
    Cheers,
    Colin
