these are not adventure bikes for most riders.for me the attraction is a big(i am 6 3") bike with an awesome ride(coutresy of the long suspension travel),shouldnt cost a fortune to run (twin cylinders) with relaxed ergonomics. The fact that they will be reasonable gravel road bikes with some capacity for even rougher sections of road is a bonus.

Roland Brown, bike journo and author rides the new Super Tenere.
Note: This is a brief fluffy for the masses newspaper review not a proper warts and all bikers review.

This is probably the best motorcycle test write up I've ever read. V interesting about the weight factor.

Damn, I like this thing and these types of bikes really aren't my cuppa tea, all in all nicely done I reckon.
Big Dave needs to throw his leg over it.
That Dutch tester was 6/4ft.
Could be the best all purpose bike, (save for knarley single track) available.
Hurry up Dave

Good write up. I guess at the end of the day it is the price that may sway people here in New Zealand. I would prefer something I don't mind dropping. If I going to spend over $20000 on a bike, why not get two? A nice lightweight Adventure bike, trail orientated and a long distance beastie...Have the best of both worlds!
