Australia was, this was luggage, crash bars, lights etc. I may be wrong but this was included for European release as the first edition. For the $24000 they are asking it would have been a good buy, but good bye now..
I did read this on the press release article, rang Yamaha NZ and that was the answer I got. PLUS, the dealer wanted a deposit up front sight unseen to reserve the bike because numbers were limited for us here and they were mostly pre sold....Bummer.
my experience too but i thought it was gonna be the first edition one....i will never ever buy a bike without riding one(or preferably it) first

......You gotta pay for that... And all of the other bits that are in the photos to make it look a superb Adventure steed....Overall, gotta say I think it looks great but disappointed to be alluded to the fact that the first edition might include extras like Europe, Sth Africa and Aussie.......

I had a decent spin on Trevor's demonstrater today, on a mix of seal and gravel. Overall, good fun and easy to ride. Peppier in the mid-range than my R1200GS Adventure, feels lighter to ride, lower seat height, 20 km/l, great mirrors. A bit icy, in places!

With knobblies (and a bash plate) it'll go wherever similar bikes go.
that river crossing looks cold Racing Dave.....does it come with hand warmers???

These are selling well in NZ. The first shipment is sold out and we are taking orders already for the next shipment.
