Hayabusa owners would be welcome, but I really think that a club specifically designed for Gixxers is the way to go.

I mean, the majority of Bandit riders are going to be interested in totally different things to the majority of GSXR riders.

Don't want to sound all eliteist (sp) or nothing but GSXR's rule.

And if you don't ride one, you're not cool enough for my club. Sorry.

just so you know,... the Hayabusa's model number is the GSXR-1300

I was about to mention that the Hayabusa IS a Gixxer - GSX1300R or as the yanks would say GSXR1300....... So you can count on both our bikes being in!

Sounds cool to me - a mass gixxer meet up would look mint

It is an awesome sight to behold. Saw about a dozen, mostly blue and white, gixxers of all ilks go past while I was filling my one up at a petrol station one day. The leader going past on his thou with the front wheel in the air...

Maybe just a meeting for a coffee or something to weed out all those honda's pretending to be gixxers??
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

true....... but WT might try and slap some gixxer stickers onto his honda when he has withdrawl symptoms?

Any of you guys going to the colmans sale? Maybe a meet up there in the arvo and go to mission bay or something?

Ok, obviously alot of us think this is a great idea, so lets see who's willing to put their money where their mouth is.

    Here's what I propose:

The first Gixxer club ride. February 6th (that's Waitangi day) We'll do the coro loop. JAFA's, oop's, I mean Aucklanders, will meet at Autobahn, then will meet up with non-JAFA's at the Kopu pub. Timings TBA.

This ride will be GSX-R's only (including 'Busa's), the only exception being WT if he wishes to come. It was his idea after all, and we all know where his loyalties lie anyway.

We'll do this one as a trial and if it works out, then there'll be more to come.

The destination is flexible, if there's anyone from the naki (or maybe even Wellington) keen to come, Let us know and perhaps we can make it in the Waikato somewhere.

So it's time to stand up or shut up...... who's keen?
It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

A gixxer club would need to charge quit a substantial membership fee. After all, you'd want the club to own the equipment for fishing them out of the shrubbery as it'd be far too expensive to hire something everytime someone binned it
