    2010 Kawasaki Z1000

New frame, new suspension config, funky fork covers, usual modern metalwork abomination masquerading as mufflers, illegible dash - totally updated and modern then!

"...the engine features hot rod tuning tricks including a 16-valve cylinder head operated via dual overhead camshafts."

    Huh?
    "Hot rod tuning tricks"?
I thought most modern engines featured 16-valve DOHC engines, whereas I doubt whether many actual hot rods do...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Oh dear. It's entirely possible that the exhaust is the best bit, as far as looks are concerned. It's no Buell.

Air funnels into the resonator chamber-equipped airbox which produces a similar sound effect to a person blowing over the top of an open glass bottle. This greatly enhances the intake sound while riding and ultimately creates a more thrilling riding experience.
Glad they don't use English over there.

    What's up with that?
I was reading about one of the new Lexiiiii which had a similar thing - the'd designed the zorst and intake so it was quiet up to 3k-ish rpm, and then did the resonatey thingo to sound like a Formula1 race car.

Kawasaki hasn't made a decent naked bike since the ZRX1200R.
