Moral of all this? Buy a Jap cruiser. Only biker group that is nice to everyone on two wheels

    Arrow Yes.

    Never stopped doing it...

I was heading back to Auckland on the Southern Motorway a wee while ago on my cruiser and passed 5 groups of sports bike riders.

I made it a point to actually lift my hand off the handle bar and wave to all five groups.

Only two of the groups acknowledged me.... What is it with sports bike riders who wont wave back to cruiser riders

Was in my car today and I spotted two bikes nod to each other.
One was on those 1800cc bikes and heading in the opposite direction four lanes over was a 600-1000cc white bike. Not sure if rider of white bike did nod, but their passenger did.

    Was great to see.

I nod and wave to fellow bike riders. Majority respond. :spudwave:

Looks like its getting even worse for me... I was just crusing along Tamaki drive at 60 kmph (Dont ask what I was doing out riding at 2 am ) and passed a bunch of guys on sports bikes going the other way at about 60 kmph too (so they couldnt have missed seeing me!)

I raise my left hand and give a big wave..... and dont get any response at all!!

Hmmmm... I don't nod for a response, I acknowledge other riders because we're riding. If they don't return it, no problem for me.

Hey, what are you doing in my area at 2 am? Too much coffee? If you pass my house I would have given you a "brown eye".

Most guys around here who ride bikes are middle age dudes going through midlife crisis. Maybe they think you are with a gang in that black doggie looking chopper.
