Nah I was riding back home after a (alcohol free) night out on the town with a friend

Yeah a few people have mentioned that folk probably think Im with a gang or something riding that chopper. Oh well.... atleast people in cages dont fsck with me

Now why would anyone in a gang wave at sports bike riders.... they wouldnt! It would be nice if all sports bike riders waved back

my partner makes a habit of waving at every bike that passes us. funnily enough, its the jap bikes that tend to wave back, and not the harley riders. either way is good....i picked up the habit as well.

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.

Only two of the groups acknowledged me.... What is it with sports bike riders who wont wave back to cruiser riders
You may look like a harley rider approaching, and as 99% of harley riders are too up themselves to return waves ,no one waves at them.

Sorry -vertically intergrated within their own being

I've found most m/cists I wave to wave or nod back. Pass a HD rider on a 29 yo japper and the fun starts

On the way home from the Southern Cross I waved to every other bike on the road. About half of the ones I passed on the open road in the North Island waved back. Almost none in the Wellington area returned the wave. Almost all in the South Island waved.

I guess the location has more to do with it than whether or not they're on a Harley.

Incidently, ALL Ducati riders waved, in both islands.
    Time to ride

I always nod or wave, and if someone shows me a courtesy such as pulling over for me to pass, i wave too.

Me'n'CB wave at everything, the most common bike-rider NOT to wave back is the sports-bike rider IMHO, they got something against H-D riders??

The best bit is when you actually recognise the biker as a KB'er.....

I always wave at all bikes -
