I've just found the code for africa twin ones 'xrv.org'
It chops the price in half to US$187 which includes US$38 of freight
Thats $259 in real money all up
So if your forks are 43mm enter the @ code or maybe even try entering it for your size and see if it works

I'll let you know when mine turn up.
If the fork size is the same and they just sit in the bottom doing their thing I doubt that the fact that they are in a lesser brand of bike would make any difference

I was wondering myself if there were differences in design/construction for different bikes with the same fork diameter, say due to different factory spring weights or something, or whether a particular size will work in any bike with that fork diameter.

If they will work the PD could most certainly benefit I think.

    Anyone know?

The shims are valved to the application.

The TA ones may be set up for a firmer ride than the DR ones to handle the extra weight.

    But probably worth the risk

    ...step outside m a t e !

Possible weight differences could make quite a difference to the bike, I wouldn't risk it for that money if I was unsure, rather spend once and wisely.

I'm still kinda keen, but may have to run it past the financial controller. Few trips planned, and I may be pushing my luck. (funny....she doesn't mind me going away for the odd trip, but bike farkles....no way).

emulators need more work whereas the intimininators just drop in with an oil change and some spacers. I've got both and prefer the 'nators.
