Smile Xmas. Holidays. Time on your hands. Where are you riding?

I have a one week window when my ex has our kids (my boys live fulltime with me) and so I will drop them off at my ex at 4pm on 24/12, drive back home and jump on the bike and take off!

There is only a vague plan:
    - Leave HB on 24/12 at 5pm
    - Visit Super Maori Fullas up north.
    - Be back for when the boys come back home 31/12 at 4pm.

I have a working bike, money for petrol, and 167 hours to my self. I will sleep as little as possible and stay sober most of the time so I can ride. Apart from that it is me and the road!

What about you? What is your Xmas riding agenda?

May the bridges I burn light the way.

Dunno yet.. Can't stray too far from home, can maybe sneak off for an overnighter somewhere.. If I am lucky I can get out for 3-4 days, then back to work. Hopefully meet some KBers.

Riding to Wanganui for Xmas and races.
Back to Wellington then ferry to Nelson for New Years. Probably a few blats around the top of the South Island during this time.

My daughter is working at Rhythm and Vines,so it seems we are going down to stay at a friends place and babysit.I was hoping to take the bike and visit Conquistador....but he might not be at home.I have run out of tyres,I don't think I'll get there and back.Maybe I'll opt out and ride around here and wear my tyres out.

When are you gonna be down here? I had a small thought of passing by Hammy and see if I would be able to come and say hi. Will also try to catch up with Rusty while in Auckland. As this trip is me doing what I want to do.
