Phaaarrk, and how I spent my Sunday

Sunday I went for a little Tiki-tour and tried out a few different modes of transport.

First it was a view of Wellington from above in a pencil with wings.
While up there I spotted a Shipwreck in a river
    And lots of Vineyards

When I got out of the scary pencil with wings I had lunch with some fellow kb'ers

After lunch I took in some sights around the area, before taking in a lovely smooth sailing back across the water.

No idea, you'll have to ask one of the yokels from down that way. Somewhere roughly between Blenheim and the coast.

    She's Dodgy

In between those 2 events I managed to prise the keys to this out of Mrs Jatz's fingers, though it took a crow bar and a fair bit of persuasion.

    It goes like Phaaarrrrkkk!!!!!!!

And the smile says it all, she really didn't want to let me have it.

Opawa river, runs right up to the centre of Blenheim. Rather shallow - I took my little flat bottomed speed boat up and down it a couple of years ago. Comes out at the Wairau bar.I'm pretty sure the wreck only has walking access to it, walked it years ago, goes right past the sewage ponds

    Yep, it's tall all right.

Big thanks to Jatz and especially Mrs Jatz who rode it the most, for picking it up and delivering it to Picton for me.

I hadn't told Jatz was he was collecting, I'm told his chin almost hit the floor when he saw it. I think he was a happy boy too.
