Going for my restricted on Thursday 17th, what do I need to practice?

Don't be so sure about the definite u-turn... niether I nor my son got asked to do one until we did our full. Having said that, be prepared to do it anyway.

I too recommend obvious mirror checks as if they can't actually see your head move to do it, they'll be convinced you didn't ever look in them!!!

Good luck. Btw, it's a pretty easy test. You'll be fine if you've been riding these last few months in a pro-actively defensive manner (how's that for an oxymoron at this time of the morning?)
