Not a great day to be a motorcyclist in Wellie

Good lord - 50km commute home.

Johnsonville straights - accident. Ambulance in attendance, 2 bikes and 2 cars parked.

Bottom of Paekak Hill, grim faced biker getting interviewed by the Police

Raumati Straights - dead black Ducati, people in attendance....

    Sheesh

Bikes may be parked because they are witnesses ie. not involved.
    Peakak Hill currently being targetted.
    Ducati dead? or rider?
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Yesterday was a shitter for me.

Woman in car pulls left out of mannor park and into my lane just before Haywards - causes me to power on and lean hard right
Dork in ute pulls hard left from the right hand lane
I get blasted by wind gust
Pull up beside x flatmate to say hi (ok it was at 110) she turns body and waves, so does her little SUV - that was kinda funny but hey..
I get to work get changed and spil coffee down pants get changed sit down and realise I was ment to be at a meeting.

Well I hope everyone is ok

Maybe we should all take this as a gentle reminder that the roads are busier than normal and christmas parties etc are going on, so maybe we ought to be bit more careful and take our time to get where we are going

Yes, 'tis the season for drunk driving, so be extra weary of the wobbly ones.
