Terrain: The Ride Departs from The Chateau Tongariro for Taumarunui where it takes the Forgotten World Highway to Mt Taranaki / Egmont via Whangmomona and Stratford. Following the rides terminal point at the Stratford Plateau half way up the mountain the day ends at the TET Sports Centre at Straford for prize giving and refreshments. The Forgotten World Highway SH 43 is a riders dream road with hills and valleys in abundance and corners that you dream of in one of NZ's most magnificent back country scenic environments. Lunch stop is at the ledgendary declared Republic village of Whangamomona.

Following last years extremely successful Sat night Pig on a spit BBQ at Eivin's Bar & Restaurant this will again be a feature plus another first, Sunday morning Breakfast, at a location yet to be confirmed within the Village of National Park. National Park is small so just follow the signs to the Breakfast. Registration for the BBQ and breakfast is necessary through Marie on e-mail eivinski@xtra.co.nz or text 0272507808 [prices to follow but I promise you will not get better value]. Early bird registration - $40 [incl lunch]. Register on the day - $45 [incl lunch]. Pillion - $15 [incl lunch]. To pre register email Mark Masters at the above email address.
