Blowing like a bastard here in Dannevirke. Wonder if they'll keep those two shiny silver things scratch free? Must be a bitch in the cross wind.

I never knew you could ride for 20kms in a straight line on a 45 deg angle..

the wind was so strong.. dave and i had 3 scary moments, im keeping bike as close to the center line as possible, winds gusts blows me clear across our lane, im looking for a landing spot.... while watching dave in the mirror, heading in the same direction...

..

it was just madness to be out there on a bike..

any way..dave and i got away this morn, about 7-20..heading for napier..

we arrived in napier 10-45am, dam good tail wind over the takapau plans .

we can wait for dave to tell you what he has brought....
