Well home finally after the windy-as fark-day on bikes!

Joe has pics of the new beastie! I forgot my camera so he'll have to post em up!

Silver Transalp XL650V 2001, 22000K on it now I've ridden it home! In really good condition so maybe I'll try and keep it that way for a while!

The styling has grown on me already and it goes like stink and corners like its on rails!

BIG thx to JMJ for ridin me up to Napier on a god awful windy day, you're an absolute star bro!!!!

45 degree angle is pretty much right for parts of the ride home - mad but fun anyway when ya got a new toy!
And got to see Eddieb's new Katoom too, and jolly nice it is! Just got done helping him load it on a trailer, the bugger is longer than the PD!!!
    Cheers, Dave

good choice Dave and I think nice looking

will you guys on your cruisers still occasionally ride with us low end adv guys?

maybe they could start up a separate sub forum called 'adventure cruisers' for all you vtwin guys?

actually Andy has set a pretty high standard with where he's taken his transalp so you have no excuse - Odlins/Cnut here we come

Cheers Mark! Yep will definitely still be doing soem tracks BUt the new beast has to have some crash bars etc fitted before it goes on anything other than gravel & seal!!!!!

And I think the adv sub-club has already coined the phrase "Adventure Tourers" for us pansies on V Twins!

And yep AndyMac has (mostly LOL!) laid a high marker for what the T/A can accomplish - and on virtual slicks too!
