Interesting pics rupe, wow that's ripped the plating right off, plus a nasty ding in port. With no premix you'd think you'd feel it start to nip up and stop before doing all that damage. Did the guy lend it someone?

It was his baby, but when he got a new bike he gave it to his son. Who took out with his mates and ruined it. It's pretty bad, but I'm going to fix it properly.

Don't screw around, plate it you'll be fine for the life of the bike unless someone does something stupid. 2nd hand gets you unknown photoshop.

Sleeves are a drag on performance.

Very hard to plate iron, can be done but most places can't successfully.
Don't you look at my accountant.

If it's so easy why don't you start up doing it? there's a bit more to it than that especially if it needs repairs

the equipment costs a shit load being in bussiness myself you have to be able to re cope cost in some way try sending it overseas it will cost the same if not more and they give good service. I had this done for rupe and they where happy to go in and do it over the holiday while they where closed it he really wanted to get it done while off work so big ups to them in customer service.
